Adventure Tours

Cabo Extreme offers the best in all types of adventure tours. Our guides are trained and have been exploring Baja for the past 15 years. Our relationships with the locals and knowledge of the surrounding area assures that you can feel safe knowing that you're with the best. All tours leave daily directly from our surf camp and resort. Tours are also available to people staying outside of our camp and resort--just specify your hotel condo or house name address and city and your preferred pick-up time on the booking/reservation page. Small transportation fee may apply. Making an advanced tour reservation insures availability and helps us to better prepare for your personalized guided extreme tour.

Hot Springs Tour
This is our most popular tour. There is a one and a half hour drive each way. This tour leaves early in the morning and returns in the evening. Taking a tour with Cabo Extreme to the hot springs of Santiago truly is an incredible adventure for both thrill-seekers and sightseers alike. Bring your camera and lots of film , for this area is located 1 mile south of the Tropic of Cancer at the base of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains and offers a view of a majestic fresh water oasis amidst the dry desert surroundings. Small natural hot springs (agua caliente) lay at the basin of a colorfully lush palm tree lined canyon with crystal clear fresh water pools fed by a flowing stream from atop the mountain's peak. Hiking upwards you will discover a wide variety of southern Baja's local plant and animal life along with small waterfalls that rush into pools of pleasantly cool water perfect for cliff diving or taking a refreshing dip. The breathtaking scenery of the area has an aura all of its own and will provide unforgettable memories. Recommended items: Swim wear, T-shirts, hiking boots (that can get wet) or tennis shoes. Transportation, lunch, water and backpacks are provided. $80 per person --2 person minimum $70 group rate (6 or more)

Snorkeling Tours (Cabo San Lucas Arch or Surf Camp)
Both tours offer beginner lessons and mask, snorkel and fins are provided. Our Cabo Extreme Arch Tour is a must for every person that visits Cabo. Take a quick boat ride just outside of the marina to Lovers Beach where you can snorkel in the calm crystal clear waters with a local seal colony at Seal Rock or snorkel in the Marine Preserve and view the many different kinds of tropical fish that Cabo's underwater world has to offer. For the thrill seekers there's Pelican Rock, a rock diving experience with 8, 15 and 25 foot high jumping spots or take a relaxing stroll along Lovers Beach. Our Surf Camp Snorkel Tour leaves the beach right in front of the resort via hard-bottom inflatable boat or by three-person kayak. Many different tropical fish can be seen, sometimes dolphins, sea turtles and seals are also seen. Scuba also available. Cabo Arch Tour: 2 1/2 hours, 2 person minimum, $60 per person. Cabo tour leaves directly from the marina at 12 noon (must make an advanced reservation) Surf Camp Tour: 4 hours, 2 person minimum, $50 per person, small lunch and beverages are also included.

Fishing
The fishing in this area is incredible. Cabo San Lucas is known for it's world class fishing! Take advantage of it! You CAN return with the fish that you caught frozen in a cooler. Dorado, Marlin, Wahoo, Grouper, Snook and Sierra are just a few of the fish that are caught. Poles, lunch and beverages are provided. Whale Watching Tour
Throughout February spawning California Grey Whales migrate right along the shores in front of our resort. You can see the whales breaching from any of the rooms at Cabo Extreme. This tour includes an experienced guide, a Waverunner that holds three people, mask, snorkel, fins and a 35 mm underwater camera. Our goal is for you to see the whales swim by and to take a picture with you and the whales under water! This is an experience that you will never forget. Two person minimum. February only. $200 per person (must make advanced reservation)

Kayaking and Inflatable Boat Trips
A very scenic coastline experience. Trips leave from the beach right in front of our resort and last on the average two to three hours. There is a two person minimum. The surf needs to be very small for this very special trip! $35 per person

Spear Fishing
Spear gun, mask snorkel, fins and gloves are provided. This trip is a BLAST! We take you out on a three-person kayak or a hard bottom inflatable boat. There are many kinds of fish to be taken. We also have an "Eat what you shoot" policy. We will put you right in front of the "BIG ONES." Sierra, Grouper, Pargo and Dorado are just a few of the edible fish in the area. Lunch, beverages and instruction are provided. GOOD LUCK! 3-4 hours $100 per person

Oyster Diving
On this tour we leave shore in front of the resort in our inflatable boat or our three-person kayak. We dive for oysters in 10 to 15 feet of water. You never know, you might get lucky and find a rare uncultured pearl! Mask, snorkel, fins and oyster gear are provided. $25 per hour per person.

A Day in Paradise
Another very popular tour for couples. This tour includes transportation to a private, isolated beach, towels lunch and a cooler full of beverages. We also leave you an umbrella and a bundle of firewood for a sunset fire. We'll pick you up after sunset and bring you back to our resort. You won't see anyone all day! $160 per couple

Palm Beach Hike
This is a beautiful, very scenic 20 minute hike. A camer is a must! Day packs, lunch and beverages are provided. There is a 20 minute drive from Cabo Extreme. $45 per person. 2 person minimum.

Todos Santos
Trips to Todos Santos leave the resort every day. Shop, dine and explore the town. Just ask Jimmy or Adam. Please give 30 minutes notice or more.Daily shuttle 4:00 pm.

Cabo San Lucas or La Paz
A full day experience that leaves in the morning and returns "whenever?" We know all of the HOT spots in both these towns and many of the bar owners! If you want to stay overnight you pay for yourself and your guide's hotel room. A camera is a must in Cabo San Lucas. LOVERS BEACH, Santa Maria Bay, all of the beach bars and restaurants are just a few places to visit. There is also great shopping, a new movie theater, a new mall, incredible golfing and fishing. For an extra charge, kayaks and Wave runners can be brought into Cabo San Lucas. La Paz sits right on the Sea of Cortez and is the largest city on the Peninsula. It is a great place for unique and inexpensive shopping and dining. Also swim with the dolphins and the dolphinarium. Transportation fee $75
